KATECHESE ÜBER DIE HEIMAT NACH DER LEHRE VON JOHANNES PAUL II Den Gegenstand des Aufsatzes bildet die Katechese über die Heimat mit Bezug auf die Lehre und patriotischen Gesten des größten Polen, des Heiligen Vaters Johannes Paul II während seiner Pilgerreisen in die Heimat. Ausgehend von seinen persönlichen Erfahrun-gen der Heimat der unter dem Begriff "Heimat" sehr viele Elemente auffasste, wird darauf hingewiesen, dass Johannes Paul II seine Lehre von der Heimat auf erlösungsgeschichtliche Grundlagen stützte. In dem dritten Teil des Aufsatzes werden Beziehungen zwischen der Heimat und der Kirche behandelt, in dem letzten, vierten Teil, befindet sich ein Hinweis des Papstes auf die Heimatliebe als den Ausdruck des Patriotismus.

L'EDUCAZIONE ALLA PENITENZA L'articolo presenta una riflessione sul tema dell'educazione alla penitenza. Cominciando dalla riflessione sull'idea della penitenza, si pone l'accento sul fatto che la conoscenza di tale argomento occupa un posto importante nel processo educativo. Per illustrare questa probblematica sono stati mostrati (nella prima parte dell'elaborato) alcuni modelli personali dell'atteggiamento penitenziale, come anche alcune azioni di carattere penitenziale e certi motivi della loro scelta. Nella seconda parte dell'articolo e stato sottolineato il dovere della penitenza, quale emerge sia dalla legge naturale, come dal diritto positivo. La terza parte prende in considerazione i cosiddetti tempi e giorni della penitenza. Nell'ultima parte viene sottolineato il ruolo delle opere di penitenza nell'educazione alla penitenza.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE PROGRAMME OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION. Summary The article focuses on the programme for high schools. It consists of four parts. In the first part it draws attention to the existing relation between the knowledge of truths about the Holy Spirit and respect for the sacrament of Confirmation. In the second part – the presence of truths about the Holy Spirit are portrayed. The third part contains discussion of the truths present in the Programme. The theme of the fourth part is the next three truths that should be known by the students who are receiving the sacrament of Confirmation. THE MAIN IDEAS OF JOHN PAUL II'S ENCYCLICAL ECLESSIA DE EUCHARISTIA IN CATECHETIC APPLICATION The article deals with the problem how the main ideas of encyclical Eclessia de Echa-ristia are brought into practice. The subject of cognition are those dogmatic contents in-cluded in encyclical which seem to be essential in catechesis focused on formation of young people eucharistic attitudes and awareness. What should be underlined is that eucharistic system employs both, doctrinal contents transmission and supporting young people in choosing life attitudes coming from those contents. Among dogmatic substances of educational implication those are important which deal with sacrifying, communal and eschatological dimension of Eucharist.They may be very helpful in supporting young man trying to understand the essence of real love and looking for value of his human existence. But one can not forget about the central role of testimony in the process of catechesis. Per-sonal testimony of belief and love to Eucharist was given by John Paul II in his encyclical. To become the real witness of prophetic truths, the catechist should follow the example of John Paul II and stay in personal and lively unity with Eucharistic Christ. It is the only condition when he can fulfil the superior aim of his service and get catechumen not only to the meeting with Jesus but also to unifying and deep intimacy with Him.

HOLY SPIRIT IN THE CATECHESIS OF SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS. Summary From the point of view of catechising practice since there is the danger of the students’ ignorance of knowledge about the Holy Spirit, His irreplaceable role in leading to a mature faith cannot be neglected. The present study is an attempt to answer the question of what is the role of the Holy Spirit in catechising of secondary school students. Premises, resulting from catechising’s nature and development conditioning, by which the youth is influenced, indicate the need of permanent catechising about the Holy Spirit as He can be a special help to youth experiencing various emotional states connected with changes of a psycho-physical nature, which affect them at this stage of development. To basic tasks of of young people during their secondary school catechising include the acquisitionof the ability of giving testimony to the faith. Essential in fulfilling this aim is teaching the truth about the Holy Spirit, not only in factual matters like knowledge about the Holy Spirit, but especially in matters connected with His personal relations with people. Young Christians will be able to give testimony to the faith only if they accept the Holy Spirit as irreplaceable support to human existence both in social and personal dimensions. Catechesis and Liturgy according to Catechesis of Cyril of Jerusalem (+387)
Summary
Since its beginnings Christianity has shown a close and direct connection with liturgy and catechesis. Cyril of Jerusalem is a privileged witness to their mutual relation in the ancient Church. The paper seeks to show the liturgical and theological depth of his catechetical heritage in four points: Cyril of Jerusalem – witness to the baptismal catechesis of the fourth century; three dimensions of the baptismal catechesis of Cyril of Jerusalem (dogmatic, moral and sacramental one); typological interpretation of the Scriptures, mystagogical catechesis of Cyril of Jerusalem and their relation with liturgy. In the conclusion we draw readers’ attention to a sacramental perspective of the Christian vision of the history of Catechesis of Cyril of Jerusalem that remains valid for contemporary Christians.

PREPARING YOUNG PEOPLE FOR THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION AS A RESEARCH CATEGORY IN CONTEMPORARY CATECHIZATION. Summary Preparing young people for the sacrament of Confirmationhasrecentlybecomeasubjectof numerous analyses and discussions. Therefore it seemed useful in this article to search for an answer to the question: in what ways are these problems dealt with in Polish catechetical literature. To answer the question the article first submits for analysis a matter of the essence and the importance of the catechesis which prepare young people for the sacrament of Confirmation. Afterwards a composite formulation of stages and forms of parish preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation and pluralism is presented, as well as a variety of suggested catechetical literature. Finally the article points to questions which require further detailed studies and empirical verification.The above statements have allowed a better understanding of contemporary studies on parish catechization of candidates for Confirmation.This is also an inspiration for further analysis and empirical researche. THE TEACHING OF RELIGION IN SCHOOLS AS PREPARATION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO CONSTRUCTIVELY SOLVE PROBLEMS IN THEIR FUTURE MARRIAGE AND FAMILY. Summary Religious education faces various educational tasks at school. The tasks focus on teaching and integral upbringing. They involve further and closer preparation of the youth to married and family life. Conflicts in married and family life and developing appropriate skills seem an essential thematic category for religious education. This article is aimed at finding answers to the following questions: how are the problems related to conflicts in married and family life dealt with in religious education classes at school and how is the task of the preparation of the youth to constructive conflict solving in married and family life carried out. While answering these questions, the religious curriculum at upper secondary school, lower secondary school, and at professional schools are referred to. In order to better understand the issue and to show it in the context of social science, first conflicts in married and family life are presented from a psychological and pedagogical perspective. Next, religious education matters are shown. The analyses carried out here are of theoretical nature only. They are based on religious curriculums at various types of comprehensive, secondary and professional schools.

REGIONAL STUDIES AS PART OF TEACHING RELIGION TO POLISH YOUTHS IN SCHOOLS. Prospects, limitations and challenge Summary
The aim of this paper is to illustrate prospects, limitations and challenges connected with providing the Polish youth with regional education as part of religious education. The conducted research focuses on: supporting the young in discovering the regional community and the regional cultural heritage, and preparing them for Christian involvement in socio-cultural activities in the region. The following issues have been presented: the nature of regional education in Polish schools, the role and place of regional education in teaching religious education, the practice of providing regional education in religion lessons in secondary schools. All the abovementioned issues have been discussed in the light of the Polish pedagogical and catechetical literature and only with reference to the young. They have shown the complexity and the variety of aspects of regional education in teaching religion to the young. In the closing section, some conclusions and catechetic postulates have been presented.
