FORMATION TOWARDS PARISH COMMUNITY AS THE GOAL OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS.
Summary
The article entitled „Formation Towards Parish Community as the Goal of Religious Education in Schools” is an attempt to describe the role and meaning of religious education in the process of making the parish into a community. The author proves that the religious education inschools can greatly influence to transform the parish into community and the meaning of catechetical instruction cannot be diminished. This analysis is based on the correlation between the catechetical teachingin schools and the pastoral-catechetical activity in the parish. Fr. W. Osial relates first how the catechetical task of formation towards the community is viewed in the documents of the Church. The documents say that this is one of the six fundamental goals of catechesis. The second part of the article is an analysis of the content and forms of education for the community. Numerous and specific examples of the catechetical activity inschools are presented here and are divided into short and long-term (based on the formation in various religious groups) activities. In the last part the author explores the question of the role of the teacher in the process of drawing the pupils into the parish. The teacher’s attitude is one of the most important factors in influencing the participation of young people in the initiatives directed to them. The teacher’s importance as a role model is also stressed, as well as his personal engagement and openness to the problems of youth.

SUPPORTING ROLE OF CATHOLIC MAGAZINES IN RAISING CHILDREN IN THE FAITH
Summary
The article is showing the possibility of exploiting numerous advantages of children’s religious magazines at the Christian body. Starting from guidelines of the programme first periodicals for children, is analysing present values of magazines addressed to this group of recipients. Against this background it is portraying the prominence of religious magazines. Next a degree of the execution of the fundamental tasks of catechesis – promoting knowledge of the faith, liturgical education, moral formation, teaching to pray, education for community life and missionary initiation on pages of chosen periodicals for children. Recapitulating the supporting role of magazines in bringing up in the faith, it is appointing children for applying them in employing the family for the Christian body. In conclusion he is giving specific possibilities of using magazines in school teaching the religion, including correlation between religion and education.

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE FAITH OF PARENTS IN RELIGIOUS EDUCATION OF CHILDREN
Summary
The faith of parents is an important factor to be taken into account while weighing the problem of educating children. The parent’s part in religious upbringing of their children is constant meeting the challenges which are the consequence of the sacrament of baptism and the tasks it imposes. The problem is vital, because in the process of religious upbringing the parents should be witnesses, not only instructors. The child’s faith is built on the faith of his parents, who, in their lives, should be authentic witnesses of their faith. They should create appropriate situations that may stimulate their children’s willingness to meet God. Simultaneously, they should observe their children’s spiritual development, without using any forms of pressure. The parent’s faith is an example for a young growing person how to get to know God. Christian parents should not only talk about Christ, but also let their children know Him through their own testimony of life and love.

DAS CHARISMA DER FAMILIE UND DIE VON IHR ERFÜLLTE RELIGIÖSE ERZIEHUNG.
Zusammenfassung
Die Familie – eine Gemeinschaft des Lebens und der Liebe – nimmt im Leben der Kirche eine ganz spezifische Rolle ein. Um diese Rolle umfassend zu erfüllen, erhält sie ihre eigene Gabe, die über die Identität von Ehe und Familie entscheidet. Die Familie kann nicht vor den Aufgaben resignieren, zu denen sie im Aufbau der Gemeinschaft der Kirche berufen ist und zu deren Verwirklichung sie mit ihrem speziellen Charisma bestärkt ist. Die organische Struktur der Familie stellt ihren großen Reichtum dar, bildet das Fundament für die Religionserziehung in der Familie, offenbart gleichzeitig jedoch auch die große Herausforderung, die in dieser Hinsicht ganz besonders vor den Eltern stehen. Sie müssen sich dessen bewusst werden, dass es vor allem sie sind, die ihre Kinder erziehen und sich gleichermaßen um deren religiöse Bildung kümmern müssen, weil sie deren Eltern sind. Wenn sie diese Aufgabe mit anderen Menschen teilen, insbesondere mit der Kirche und der Schule, dann soll sich dabei auf richtige Weise der Grundsatz der Subsidiarität widerspiegeln. Der vorliegende Artikel geht auf die Frage nach dem Charisma der Familie sowie nach der von ihr erfüllten Religionserziehung ein, wobei ihre Wertschätzung und Wahrnehmung besondere Beachtung erfahren.

The practical dimension of the oratorio in the educational work of the Salesian Family in Poland
Summary
The article contains a theoretical study of the idea of the Salesian Oratory based on the quadruple metaphor of oratory as home, school, parish and backyard and empirical verification of its actual application in the educational practice of Salesians Sisters and Salesians Priests in Poland. The result of the analyses are the applications and proposals aimed at pastoral care of fidelity to the original upbringing style of Saint John Bosco, attempt to answer the signs of the times and adapting pastoral and educational activities to the needs of today’s youth.

L'EDUCAZIONE ALLA PENITENZA
L'articolo presenta una riflessione sul tema dell'educazione alla penitenza. Cominciando dalla riflessione sull'idea della penitenza, si pone l'accento sul fatto che la conoscenza di tale argomento occupa un posto importante nel processo educativo. Per illustrare questa probblematica sono stati mostrati (nella prima parte dell'elaborato) alcuni modelli personali dell'atteggiamento penitenziale, come anche alcune azioni di carattere penitenziale e certi motivi della loro scelta. Nella seconda parte dell'articolo e stato sottolineato il dovere della penitenza, quale emerge sia dalla legge naturale, come dal diritto positivo. La terza parte prende in considerazione i cosiddetti tempi e giorni della penitenza. Nell'ultima parte viene sottolineato il ruolo delle opere di penitenza nell'educazione alla penitenza.

HOLY SPIRIT IN THE CATECHESIS OF SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS.
Summary
From the point of view of catechising practice since there is the danger of the students’ ignorance of knowledge about the Holy Spirit, His irreplaceable role in leading to a mature faith cannot be neglected. The present study is an attempt to answer the question of what is the role of the Holy Spirit in catechising of secondary school students.
Premises, resulting from catechising’s nature and development conditioning, by which the youth is influenced, indicate the need of permanent catechising about the Holy Spirit as He can be a special help to youth experiencing various emotional states connected with changes of a psycho-physical nature, which affect them at this stage of development.
To basic tasks of of young people during their secondary school catechising include the acquisitionof the ability of giving testimony to the faith. Essential in fulfilling this aim is teaching the truth about the Holy Spirit, not only in factual matters like knowledge about the Holy Spirit, but especially in matters connected with His personal relations with people. Young Christians will be able to give testimony to the faith only if they accept the Holy Spirit as irreplaceable support to human existence both in social and personal dimensions.

PEDAGOGICAL DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHERS OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF EDUCATIONAL CHANGES
Summary
The changes that have been taking place in the Polish education system oblige teachers of religious education to raise their qualifications and pedagogical competences. Up-todate knowledge and pedagogical skills are essential for diligent teaching, upbringing and caretaking work.
This article attempts to present the aims, tasks and different forms of pedagogical development of religious education teachers which result from educational changes in Polish schools. In the analyses undertaken, the mission of the religious education teacher in the school environment has been taken into consideration. The paper also points to the dynamic character of the permanent formation. It has been clearly noted that the pedagogical development of Polish religious education teachers is among the priorities as far as formative activities are concerned. It has been suggested that empirical research be undertaken among various groups of religious education teachers.
