DIE FRÖMMIGKEIT DER OBERSCHLESICHEN PILGER AN DER WENDE DES XIX UND XX JAHRHUNDERTS
Die Frömmigkeit vieler oberschlesischen Pilger an der Wende des XIX und XX Jahr-hunderts war stark im "Genius loci" der Pilgerorte verankert, wobei sich and die Spitze Marienwallfahrtsorte (Kalvarien) schoben. Die Pilgerorte im religiösen Bewusstsein des oberschlesischen Volkes waren dank Gottes Vorsehung ausgewählt. Sie erschienen als Orte besonderer Gnaden, sozialer Verbundenheit und Freiheit, des Gebetes und der Freude. Solche Orte findet man sowohl in Nieder- wie auch Ober-schlesien. Das wichtigste ist aber das religiöse Erleben am heiligen Ort. Die Eucharistie füllt den heiligen Ort aus. Mit der Stärke der Eucharistie ist die Kirche als Gottes Volk "gewachsen" und "zusammengewachsen". Diese sich am Pilgerort bauende Kirche wurde zum "eklesialen" Gär-stoff der Familien, und so auch der Pfarrgemeinden. Diese sich bauende Kirche war auch ein Zeichen der eschatologischen Einigkeit, die uns Himmel erwartet - in Verbundenheit mit Gott. Im Pilgerphänomen kommt auch die eschatologische, Marien- und Passions Dimension zum Vorschein, durch welche sich die Kirche in Oberschlesien selbst realisierte.

The Eucharistic devotion and the cult of the Eucharist outside the Mass
Summary
St John Paul II wrote in his last encyclical Ecclesia de Eucharistia, that the “Eucharist is a priceless treasure: by not only celebrating it but also by praying before it outside of Mass we are enabled to make contact with the very wellspring of grace” (EE 25). Therefore, the Church not only places a special emphasis on the Holy Communion but it also proposes that the faithful develop the Eucharistic devotion in themselves, by a deepened participation in the Holy Mass. Why should it be the Eucharistic devotion? It is because every Mass teaches us how to establish mature relations with God and other people. Thanks to Mass we mature to perfect love, which we learn by the contemplation of the mystery of Christ. The real Eucharistic devotion should be theophanic, christocentric and pneumocentric, meaning that it should be focused on the Holy Trinity and have both a personalistic character – oriented towards the personal God, and an ecclesial one – which teaches the openness to the Church. The Eucharistic devotion demands not only the participation in the Mass but the cult of the Eucharist outside of Mass as well. Hence, the Church has developed three forms of such cult: exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Eucharistic procession and Eucharistic congresses. Exposition and adoration express the recognition of the miraculous nature of Christ and encourage to unify with Him. The Eucharistic processions indicate the nature of the Church, which is a community on a pilgrimage to heaven. Eucharistic congresses, in turn, whether organized locally or at a more extended level, always express a living Eucharistic devotion and countering religious indifference.

EUCHARISTIE - NAHRUNG FÜR ERSCHÖPFTE MENSCHEN AUF IHREM WEG

EUCHARISTISCHE FRÖMMIGKEIT HEUTE
Johannes Paul II schreibt: "Jedes Bemühen um Heiligkeit […] muss die notwendige Kraft aus dem eucha-ristischen Mysterium beziehen und auf dieses Mysterium als ihren Höhepunkt hingeordnet sein" (EdE 60). Ist die Eucharistie heute noch eine Quelle der eucharistischen Frömmigkeit?
Diese Frömmigkeit entwickelte sich im Laufe der Geschichte und dauert bis heute, aber się ergab sich nicht im-mer aus einem guten Verständnis der Eucharistie. Die heutige eucharistische Frömmigkeit bringt das Vaticanum II mit der Lehre von der Eucharistie. "Das eucharistische Mysterium - Opfer, Gegenwart, Mahl - darf nicht verkürzt und nicht verzweckt werden. Man muss es in seiner Fülle leben" (EdE 61). Diese Lehre ist das Fundament dieser Frömmigkeit. Się ist eine trinitarische, ecclesiologische, sakramentale, gemeinschaftliche aber auch persönliche Frömmigkeit.
Sie besteht aus folgenden Elementen: Glaube an die Heilstat Jesu Christi, die in der Eucharistie vergegenwärtig wird, Verständnis und Erleben des Paschamysteriums, Mitarbeit mit Christus, Hören und Aufnehmen von Gottes Wort, Dankbarkeit Jesus gegenüber für seine Gabe, Teilnahme an der Hl. Kommunion, Kult der Eucharistie außerhalb der Messe. Die eucharistische Frömmigkeit braucht deswegen eine gute liturgische Formation und das "Staunen" über die Eucharistie (EdE 6).

HIDDEN PRESENCE AND CONTEMPLATING DWELLING. ON A POETIC THEOLOGY OF THE HYMN ADORE TE DEVOTE
Summary
Hymn Adoro te devote – amazing testimony of Eucharistic piety from the Middle Ages – is different from other hymns such as Lauda Sion or Pange lingua which describe the Eucharist in a poetic way since it turns in a prayer directly to Christ present in the sign of bread. The Author of the article points first of all at certain aspects of Eucharistic mentality of the Middle Ages which seem to be forgotten and which are extremely important also for a man of today. The key to a theological analysis of the hymn is its structure. First of all faith is shown as a mean of an access to a hidden truth (latens veritas) followed by the consequence of this faith – life in Christ and with Christ. Finally the hymn introduces a praying person into an eschatological perspective – a desire to see the Risen Lord directly. The Author analysis the text in relation to other works of St. Thomas Aquinas and shows that today the hymn Adoro te devote may be a precious assistance in getting closer to the mystery of the Eucharist.

TEMI TEOLOGICI DELLA LITURGIA E DELLA PIETA' POPOLARE IN AVVENTO
L'impulso, da cui e' scaturita l'elaborazione dell'articolo sopra presentato, era la convinzione nell'autore della mancanza di uno studio riguardante l'influsso ispiratore della liturgia sulla pieta' popolare e della sua risonanza nelle concrete forme di tale pieta'.
Era importante osservare come proprio nel punto di convergenza tra il menzionato influsso ispiratore della liturgia e la sua risonanza nelle diverse forme della pieta' popolare diventa possibile recepire la tonalita' dei comuni temi teologici, riecheggianti sia nella liturgia della Chiesa, sia nella pieta' popolare - vissuta in privato o in comunita'.
Nell'articolo si esaminano i testi liturgici di Avvento e le forme della pieta' popolare praticate in questo periodo liturgico. Sia tali testi che tali forme si basano sugli stessi fondamenti, radicati sui seguenti tre pilastri:
- L'Avvento e' un periodo di conversione, alla quale spesso ci richiama in questo periodo sia la liturgia - con la voce dei profeti, soprattutto con quella di Giovanni il Battista, sia la pieta' popolare - con il suo abbondante linguaggio simbolico-espressivo (il filo della conversione e' presente nella liturgia e nella pieta' popolare);
- L'Avvento e' un periodo di gioiosa speranza, la quale suscita nei cristiani la convinzione che la salvezza (portataci dal nostro Signore Gesu' Cristo) e le realta' della gloria futura (gia' presente nel mondo per la grazia salvifica) raggiungeranno il loro compimento. Grazie a cio', l'attuale promessa si trasformera' nel reale possesso dei beni eterni e la fede si configurera' nello stare "a faccia a faccia" davanti al Signore (il filo della speranza cristiana e' presente nella liturgia e nella pieta' popolare);
- L'Avvento e' un periodo di attesa vissuta come preparazione alla commemorazione liturgica della prima venuta del Salvatore nel mondo ed al suo ritorno glorioso - come il Signore della storia e il Giudice del mondo (il filo della vigilanza e' presente nella liturgia e nella pieta' popolare).
