This paper shows the connection between Hegel’s Phenomenolgy of Spirit idea of lord and bondsman and the philosophy of drama of Tischner. After the presentation of the basic notions of the philosophy of drama (time, world-stage, man, agathological horizon) and the dialogical and intentional opening of man toward other man, it is analyzed in the particular subject of human freedom. The use of the dialectical figure of lord and bondsman helps Tischner in drawing a proper perspective of the drama of human freedom. The last part of this paper dedicated to liberation reveals a critical attitude of Tischner toward Hegelian philosophy.

The paper is an attempt to put into focus the problem discussed by Kathryn R. Rogers and Hugh McCann whether or not Anselm of Canterbury makes God responsible for sin and evil. The obvious Anselmian text to refer to is that of the Philosophical Fragments, in which Anselm presents his understanding of the four ways of willing something (quattuor modi volendi), something which neither Rogers nor McCann seem to take into account.
The whole purpose of Anselm’s distinguishing between four types of willing is to enable one to interpret properly passages of Scripture where God’s will is referred to and, one may add, to help scholars such as Rogers and McCann find a simple way out of the labyrinth, in which, it would seem, they have lost themselves in.

Apology of Descartes. About a Certain Topos in the Philosophy of Mind
The article describes the topos of the Cartesian dualism, characteristic for different trends in philosophy of mind. The topos is based on the well-known argument against soul existence: it assumes that if soul and body exist, there must be also causal relations between them. But it seems impossible, because we can think about causes only in a physical sense. So only bodily relations are comprehensible and body cannot cause something that is non-corporeal and vice versa.
Author of the article points that on the one hand, this strict dualism does not belong to Cartesian philosophy, and on the other hand, this argumentation fails because there is a wide range of relations (for example logical or social) that are not physical. So he reaches conclusion that the Cartesian topos in the philosophy of mind is based on the so-called straw man fallacy.

Summary 1. The subject of this article is problem of connection between time and eternity. The solvation of this problem depends on a kind of ontology, on basis of which this problem is formulated. The most suitable ontology for this purpose is - in my opinion - Ingarden's ontology of real objects. However this ontology must be in a few aspects modified and developed. 2. The first part of this article presents thesis which belong to mentioned ontology. Those thesis will be used in second part of this article, which is devote to connection between time and eternity. The third part contains brief discussion of selected philosophical and theological concepts similar to the proposal presented in previous parts. Thesis: 3. Eternity understood as eternal "now" is the principle of unity of worldprocess. In this sense eternity is transcendent respect to the world. 4. Every "now" of a real object participates in eternity. So eternity penetrate the world and in this manner eternity is immanent in the world.

Apology of Edith Stein’s Idea of Philosophy against Objections of Joseph Stallmach and Karl-Heinz Lembeck
Edith Stein proposed the conception of philosophy that is strictly different than any other. She postulated that philosophy should adapt some theses of theology to be able to explain correctly and ultimately the whole reality. I presented and analyzed the critiques made by Joseph Stallmach and Karl-Heinz Lembeck that were published on Edith stein’s conception of philosophy. I also made an apology of this conception and marked new patches of understanding the relation between philosophy and theology and of considering a mystical experience and alive faith as sources of knowledge.

This paper deals with observing the peripatetic motives and influences of Boethius on the education and thinking of the late 10th and 11th centuries. The connection between Anselm‘s proofs of G od‘s existence from Monologion and Proslogion and so called mensa geometricalis, i.e. the abacus, a counting board used for arithmetical calculations and geometrical demonstrations circa 1,000 A.D., is presented as the entirely natural way of peripatetic interpretation of the intellectual world of Anselm of Canterbury, initiated by Franciscus Salesius Schmitt, through a search for other traces of Aristotelian heritage in the 11th century and in the period around the year 1,000 (primarily under the influence of Boethius‘s texts).

After Gabriel Marcel, human being is a principal subject of any philosophical research. Only the understanding of a human being makes it possible to understand the world. A philosopher reaches the mystery of human existence when personally and internally experiencing himself. However, a philosopher never explains the reality recognised in his internal experience; he keeps describing it. Human being is permanently directed towards development, towards the search of the fullness of his existence. This is done by realising interpersonal relations - especially, all "I"-"you" relations. This type of relations are initiated on the basis of the specific identity between the human "I" and other human beings, when a new reality "us" is being created. In the "I"-"you" relations the second person discovers the subject-one for himself. The human being attains his full identity exclusively in the case of another person becoming for him a "you". The principal kinds of the "I"-"you" relations are: love, hope and believe definitely unified with faith. In these relations human being transcends himself and participates either in the human "you", or in the divine "YOU".
